http://www.campaignforliberty.com/materials/HR1207-Shame-List.pdf The list in the link above includes those in Congress that flip-flopped after they cosponsored a bill that would audit the Federal Reserve Bank (HR 1207). Since 2008, millions of angry Americans have demanded to know what happened to TRILLIONs of dollars after the economic collapse just two years ago. Because of the public pressure, 320 Congressmen cosponsored this legislation. However, when the final chance to make this audit happen came to vote, 114 members changed their mind. This is no joke. Instead of representing you, they decided to represent the bankers. Let the truth be known, they are more concerned with protecting the secrecy of the bankers and granting them even more powers to steal the wealth of Americans. Absolutely none of these people should ever hold public office again. They not only failed to represent that the majority of Americans demand to know what is going on with this corrupt institution, they turned around and gave them more power. What should come to no shock to any American is how powerful the FED is at buying the votes of Congress and the rest of DC. Colorado voters please remember that these people stabbed you in the back: [...]

Watch Rep. Alan Grayson question Scott Alverez, of the Federal Reserve Bank, during a transparency hearing for the House Committee on Financial Services. Rep Grayson asks Scott Alverez if the Federal Reserve is manipulating the stock market and the futures market. You can tell Scott Alverez tries to dodge the question and gets really nervous. Without admitting to the question itself, Mr Alverez admits that the Fed is doing something to control interest rates, but he dodges out of the details on how that ties in with the stock market. I really like the fact that Grayson did not back down with his questioning one second. He asked a few other important questions about the gold listed on the Fed’s balance sheet, as well as allegations of front running and insider trading. It is my belief, along with many others, that the Federal Reserve is hiding a lot activity that would make every American outraged. If the Fed is audited, and it is determined that the Federal Reserve was interfering with the stock market, this would be the crime of the millennium. The Federal Reserve is defrauding every American, every investor, and every business. Businesses and investors alike depend on [...]

Finally, after months of waiting for a hearing on Ron Paul’s HR1207, the House Financial Services Committee will be holding a hearing at 9 a.m.EST on Friday, September 25, 2009. This could be one of the most important hearings in the last 100 years. Every American needs to know what the Federal Reserve Bank is doing with the dollars they print, and to which foreign governments and institutions are receiving these dollars. If you care about the economy and your personal savings, then I highly recommend that you follow what is going on with the Federal Reserve Bank. Their monopoly power to control the value of the dollar should concern everyone. The hearing will be broadcast on the link below this Friday. We will repost the broadcast once it becomes available. http://www.house.gov/apps/list/hearing/financialsvcs_dem/fchr_092509.shtml

Nearly 200 economists, mostly academics, have signed a petition urging Congress and the executive branch “to reaffirm their support for and defend the independence of the Federal Reserve System as a foundation of U.S. economic stability.” In defending the Fed against those now challenging the secrecy of its undertakings and, in some cases, its very existence, these economists offer three arguments. First, “central bank independence has been shown to be essential for controlling inflation.” Recall, however, that for more than a century before the Fed’s establishment in 1913, the purchasing power of the dollar fluctuated around an approximately horizontal trend line. Despite inflations and deflations usually associated with the wartime issuance of fiat money and the postwar return to specie-backed currency, the dollar more or less retained its exchange value against goods and services over the long run. Since the Fed’s establishment, however, the dollar has lost more than 95 percent of its purchasing power. Is this horrible record what these economists consider “controlling inflation”? If so, they have placed the performance bar much too low. … Read More (Author: Robert Higgs Source: mcclatchydc.com Date: 08.05.09)

As one would expect from the unchecked monopoly powers of the Federal Reserve Bank, they feel they are above the law. They feel they are allowed to operate independently without any checks or balances. Well, I hate to break it to the Fed, but people are tired of their miscalculated actions that have destroyed thousands of businesses and millions of lives with their boom and bust cycles. Not to mention the fraud, inside market manipulations, corruption of congress and presidents, and outright theft with inflation. No, I wont go into the other actions of Federal Reserve Bank such as their ponzi scheme, nor will I mention their involvement with foreign central banks, and I wont even mention how they have worked with the IMF to destabilize other currencies for political gain. The Federal Reserve Bank not only needs to be audited but it needs to come to an end.

We would like to thank Rep. Doug Lamborn for doing so. The list below shows the remaining 6 representatives of Congress that have not yet signed on. This is not a Republican or Democratic issue. If your congressman is listed below we ask that you please contact them and urge their support of this bill.
Yesterday afternoon I was fortunate to attend the End the Fed rally in downtown Denver at the Federal Reserve Building. A small but vocal group of 50-60 people handed out fliers and sent a message to people walking down the 16th street mall. The message of first auditing the Federal Reserve Bank, and second, ending the Federal Reserve Bank was clear. I still think only a small handful of people are educated on this topic and that is why the message needs to get out to as many people as possible. Being a part of this rally you have some people that were curious about what we were doing there, and I applaud those people for asking questions. There were others who just crossed the street pretending not to care. Sadly, I think most Americans don’t want to care because it means they have to think about what goes on around them. They would rather someone else in government make those decisions. As it turns out, that’s exactly why our government has grown so large and out of control. If we ever expect to get our economy on solid ground we must have sound money. All fiat currencies fail and [...]
