No, I am not referring to some mafia family, I am referring to your federal government. There are a lot of similarities between between those in charge in Washington DC, compared with the worst mafias in history. There are several enterprises that any mafia partakes in; drug trafficking, arms trafficking, loan sharking, control of contracting, and protection/extortion rackets. Sadly, there is not a single criminal activity that the federal government does not partake in. For starters, there is the protection/extortion racket with the IRS. Someone needs to pay for the empire to fight all these wars to protect, what they call democracy and freedom (they really mean fascism). You should be grateful to have been hand selected at birth to give up half your paycheck when you come of age. Just don’t opt out of their protection services or they will come look for you and possibly kidnap you. Next, we have the control of contracts with the Federal Reserve Bank (which by the way consists of private member banks, but uses government selected officials as cover). The Federal Reserve Bank which has a monopoly on the counterfeiting of the dollar, gets a piece of every transaction (or contract) conducted. [...]

On July 10, 2009, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin became the second governor in these States United (Governor Phil Bredesen of Tennessee is the other one) to sign into effect a State Sovereignty Resolution. These Sovereignty-type bills, resolutions and laws are an obvious and rightful response that the super-majority of the States in the Union are expressing to and against the usurping powers of the federal government. While the effects of federal tyranny are being felt more seriously than ever, history and human nature prove that the people of a society do not respond or revolt immediately against tyranny–though they have a right to. America’s resistance is no different. Fortunately, the sleeping giant is being awakened, to the dismay of our Centralist-worshipers today. … More (Author: Timothy Baldwin, Esq. Source: tenthamendmentcenter.com Date: 08.11.2009)

As Texas sends it’s message to Washington DC, the rest of the country should listen. The 10th Amendment of the Constitution was created for your protection from overbearing and expansive federal government. There has never been a time in the history of this country when government has so grossly overstepped it’s boundaries and intruded on state and individual rights of the free people of this nation. Actions for protecting each state’s sovereignty is the crucial first step in upholding our constitutional rights and liberties. Please help make this known to the people of Colorado.
