Event: Coalition for a Conservative Majority Meeting
When: Sun, Aug 29 6:00 pm – Mon, Sep 13 7:30 pm
Description: CONSERVATIVE GRASSROOTS HOSTS PROGRESS & STRATEGY MEETING
Meeting is part of community-wide effort to rally and mobilize conservatives to action and free Colorado and America from liberal agenda.

WHAT: The Coalition for a Conservative Majority serves as a central organizing hub and voice for all conservative individuals and organizations. CCM is a local grassroots coalition comprised of “we the people.”

We rally, recruit, educate, organize, and mobilize the Pikes Peak area to empower all conservative individuals and organizations to unite against the liberal regime and re-establish responsibility in government. CCM works with other conservative single– and multi-issue organizations to raise awareness and plan action against current and future liberal agendas at all levels of government.

WHY: The current governing majorities in both the Colorado Legislature and United States Congress are working to gain complete control of the lives and fortunes of all Americans. This is resulting in broad, sweeping degradation of our freedoms. These freedoms were dearly bought by millions over the history of this Republic. It is our intent to regain those freedoms.

WHO: The Coalition for a Conservative Majority is a group of conservatives who will educate, strategize, coordinate, and mobilize to preserve the conservative founding principles that made this nation great. The group is dedicated to returning common sense and conservative values to Colorado and America.

6:00-6:30pm ~ Members’ Business Meeting
6:30-7:30pm ~ Progress & Strategy Meeting for members, volunteers and guests
Location: The Retired Enlisted Association 834 Emory Circle, Colorado Springs, CO 80915

Event: Constitution Ride Across America: Returning to America’s Greatness
When: Sun, Sep 12 3:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Description: Constitution Ride Across America:Returning to America’s Greatness
Come join small businessman Daren Gardner from Virginia as he spreads the word that the constitution still matters and that you can do something about it. Daren has embark on a 13,000 mile motorcycle ride to every state capitol in the continental US.

When: Sunday, September 12, 2010, 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Where: Colorado State Capitol
200 East Colfax Avenue (Lincoln & Colfax)
West side steps of the Capitol
Denver, CO 80203

Daren Started his ride last week and has been sharing details of his journey on Facebook

Daren feels so passionately about upholding and defending the Constitution he is traveling 13,000 miles on his motorcycle to rally the people to stand up and defend the rule of law and the contract between We the People and our representatives. Many bikers have expressed an interest in riding with him. If you are interested in biking with Daren on the trail, please see his website for more information about where he will be on any given day from August 15 to October 30.

Political candidates have been invited to this non-partisan event to speak to We The People for a few minutes about how they plan to uphold and defend the Constitution once in office. Candidates are being asked to simply share for a minute or two their plans to uphold our Founding Document.

Shawn Mitchell, Colorado Senator, has agreed to be the state legislator to speak at the rally and receive the copy of the Constitution that Daren wants to present. The only other speakers will be candidates running for Governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. Congressmen, and local state offices. Daren’s goal is to get a verbal confirmation from those seeking state and national office that they will uphold and defend the Constitution and because this is a non partisan event all candidates in each race have been invited to speak for a few minutes. They will not be allowed to bash other candidates or use the event as a rally for their campaigns, rather they will just be encouraged to share specific ways that they plan to uphold and defend the Constitution. This is not a campaign rally so stump speeches are not permitted.
