This Time Around The Democrats Have “Dynamic Analysis” Colorado House Majority Leader Paul Weissmann and his gang of Democratic friends have learned that with the aid of the Colorado Supreme Court, every tax credit and exemption in the books is subject to elimination despite the Taxpayer’s Bill Of Rights (TABOR) amendment. If the Colorado State legislature and State Supreme Court has learned anything, it’s that political will to raise tax revenue can be far greater than any silly State Constitution. The Colorado News Agency reported that the Majority Leader, Paul Weissmann is proposing a “dynamic analysis” study for the remaining tax breaks the Democrats haven’t abolished. The measure proposed by Democratic House Majority Leader, Paul Weismann of Lousiville, would direct the General Assembly’s Legislative Council to prepare a report that reviews each tax exemption and credit at prescribed intervals. The reports would then be provided to the legislature for their consideration. Now I wonder what such a report might say? Might it mention something along the lines of increased tax revenue? Well, that’s certainly what Weissmann and other members of the anti-tax break cartel hope anyway. Nothing’s easier than asking to repeal another tax credit with a fancy report showing [...]

The Congressman from Colorado District 7 who swore to uphold the Constitution before he took office, violated the rule of law again by supporting the recent health care reform bill (otherwise known as Obamacare). This statement was released from his office on March 21st 2010: Today, U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter (CO-07), voted in favor of comprehensive health insurance reform. Below is a statement from Congressman Perlmutter: “I am proud to cast this historic vote. For too long, people with preexisting conditions, like my daughter Alexis, were denied coverage or discriminated against by being priced out of the insurance market. It is unconstitutional, immoral and today we said enough and put an end to this practice. Too much is at stake for thousands of people, families and small businesses in the 7th CD, and we took the necessary first steps to making quality, reasonably priced health care accessible to more people for less cost. There is still work to be done, and I am committed to continuing this work. But ‘No’ is not an option. The status quo is not the answer. At Government in the Grocery and throughout our neighborhoods in my district, I’ve heard from thousands of my constituents [...]

I am not sure what drives some Democrats and progressives to violate the Constitution and rule of law, but some will not be happy until all personal liberty and private property is stolen from you and given to the federal government. In a recent effort to protest Colorado Attorney General John Suthers lawsuit against the legality of Obamacare, Colorado House Democrats and others, sent a letter to the attorney demanding that he stop his lawsuit. Obamacare is not even close to being constitutionally legal, and yet some are hellbent on shoving this bill down our throats at all costs. If we live in a Constitutional Republic, then nothing should be allowed to stop this lawsuit. No act of Congress can ever violate or go above the powers delegated by the Constitution. PERIOD! Maybe Coloradans should send a message to the Colorado General Assembly and demand they stop violating the law. Better yet, vote them out this fall for the destruction they have done to personal liberty.

The power hungry, self serving, vermin who make their living by stealing from people; have done it again, pushing through more socialism. Do they care about the Constitution and the rule of law? Why should they when most Americans are too gutless to stand up to these thugs? Congress has pushed through more reckless legislation in the past 10 years than anytime in our country’s history. They have stolen trillions of dollars of the people’s hard earned money, destroyed the free market, and usurped personal liberty. The Patriot Act, TARP, and now Obamacare all seek to move America closer to National Socialism – ie FASCISM. Something Hitler, Mussolini, and FDR would all be proud of. The criminals listed below are the Colorado Congressmen who violated the Constitution by favoring the ‘Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act’. Rep. John T.
The Census Bureau played a role in the confinement of more than 100,000 Americans of Japanese descent who were rounded up and held in internment camps, many until the war ended in 1945. In 1942, the Census turned over general statistics about where Japanese-Americans lived to the War Department. It was acting legally under the Second War Powers Act, which allowed the sharing of information for national security.
On July 23, 2004, EPIC obtained documents revealing that the Census Bureau provided the Department of Homeland Security statistical data on people who identified themselves on the 2000 census as being of Arab ancestry. The special tabulations were prepared specifically for the law enforcement agency. There is no indication that the Department of Homeland Security requested similar information about any other ethnic groups. The tabulations apparently include information about United States citizens, as well as individuals of Arab descent whose families have lived in the United States for generations.
There’s plenty of federal holidays for Americans to celebrate. On July 4th, there’s independence from King George’s England. On the first Monday in September, a holiday was dedicated to the “social and economic achievements of American workers.” Other days throughout the year celebrate autumn harvest, soldiers who died in the civil war and even a person who sailed to this continent nearly three centuries before the country was “founded.” When there’s no federally-sanctioned holiday to call upon, protesters and activists across the political spectrum often pick “important” dates to schedule events to bring attention to their cause. We’ve seen protests on Tax Day, Independence Day, May Day, Earth Day, and more. And, just last week, we saw great importance placed on a day that doesn’t even have a letter in its name, 9/12. But nowhere to be found on these great lists of “federal holidays” or “protest days” is a celebration of the document that defined the principles of liberty that this country was supposedly founded upon – the Constitution. … More (Author: Michael Boldin Source: tenthamendmentcenter.com Date: 09.16.2009)
