The honorable (Ha) Moonbat Polis blessed his constituents with a lengthy piece of gibberish regarding the little o-care fiasco. I could not ignore it completely. Lets hope this dunce is amongst many forcibly retired in 2010. Your email message regarding health care of today’s date is utter gibberish. Congress can not spend what the country does not have never mind the “wisdom” of inserting the federal government into a controlling role into yet something else for it to turn to trash. The litany of federal “accomplishments” is many: the postal service, Amtrak, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, welfare and on and on. If the government could achieve mere incompetence it would be a major improvement. If this ultimate boondoggle is so good why is congress exempting itself from it? You are literally bringing about the collapse of the United States yet you blissfully proceed as if it will all work out somehow someday. This story does not begin “once upon a time” and it most certainly does not end “happily ever after.” You and your colleagues of both parties will be held to account for your crushing incompetence and corruption at some point. Perhaps when we’re all contemplating the smoldering ashes [...]

When it comes to the bills he supports, I would say everything. This congressman to me seems very out of touch with his district’s constituents. I get the feeling he is working for his lobbyists instead of the people. He has been in favor of all the bank bailouts and wasteful spending sprees over the last year. He also favors just about every bill that increases the size of government and taxes Americans and their businesses increasingly more. He is an advocate for Cap and Trade, a tax on carbon emissions. He is under the impression that carbon is the root cause of global warming. Carbon is something all humans and other animals exhale. Yet, Perlmutter thinks the government has the right to tax business that produce it. This is insanity. This will have serious consequences on all business and drive prices increasing upward. Something that will be a burden an already slumping economy. Perlmutter, even without fully understanding how global warming works is in favor of this dangerous bill that will do nothing to curb emissions or effect the environment, but will do everything to hurt consumers. Lastly, I wanted to report that Perlmutter has yet to sign on [...]

The number of cosponsors for HR 1207 has reached 100 today. This is great news for this historic bill. We need to have full transparency of the Federal Reserve Bank so we can see what they are doing with our money. There is only one representative from Colorado that has cosponsored this bill so far. We would like to thank Rep. Doug Lamborn for doing so. The list below shows the remaining 6 representatives of Congress that have not yet signed on. This is not a Republican or Democratic issue. If your congressman is listed below we ask that you please contact them and urge their support of this bill. Rep. DeGette [D-CO] Rep. Polis [D-CO] Rep. Salazar [D-CO] Rep. Markey [D-CO] Rep. Coffman [R-CO] Rep. Perlmutter [D-CO] You can also use this web site to contact them.

Source: THE NEW AMERICAN • OCTOBER 27, 2008 The Freedom Index: A Congressional Scorecard Based on the U.S. Constitution rates congressmen based on their adherence to constitutional principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, national sovereignty, and a traditional foreign policy of avoiding foreign entanglements. To learn how any representative or senator voted on the key measures described herein, look him or her up in the vote charts. The scores are derived by dividing a congressman’s constitutional votes (pluses) by the total number he cast (pluses and minuses) and multiplying by 100. The Freedom Index Sen. Ken Salazar scores an embarrassing 10%, and Sen. Wayne Allard scores 63%. The question I would like to ask is didn’t they both swear to uphold the Constitution?
