University of Nevada Reno Police ‘Protecting’ Kids From Themselves

It always amazes me the dirty tactics some police officers use to turn a non crime into something they feel like intervening with. Three kids in this video were jaywalking (that’s right jaywalking) and stopped by police. One was tricked into giving a breathalyzer even though he did not legally have to do this. A common tactic used by police is to make any innocent person a criminal just by scaring or threatening the people they detain to give up their rights. If you think that is protecting anyone, you better think again.
