A recent report which was leaked to the public from the Missouri Information Analysis Center makes reference to followers of former presidential candidates Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr as a potential militia members and a possible terrorist threat.
Militia members most commonly associate with 3rd party political groups. It is not uncommon for the militia members to display Constitutional Party, Campaign for Liberty, or Libertarian material. These members are usually supports of former Presidential Candidate: Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr.
Militia members commonly display picture, cartoons, bumper stickers that contain anti-government rhetoric. Most of this material will depict the FRS, IRS, FBI, ATF, CIA, UN, Law Enforcement, and ‘The New World Order’ in a derogatory manor. Additionally, Radical, anti-immigration, and anti-abortion, material may be displayed by militia members.
I don’t know about you, but the way this reads is if you question the government, the federal reserve system, or just believe in the Constitution, then MIAC thinks you might be a terrorist. This is unacceptable profiling and should be an embarrassment to MIAC, the State of Missouri, and the Department of Homeland Security. MIAC needs to retract their report and make a public apology to Ron Paul, Campaign for Liberty, Chuck Baldwin, the Libertarian Party, Bob Barr, and the millions of other Americans that this report profiled.
If you would like to file a complaint to MIAC, here is their contact info:
